Domestic violence is a situation where one person within a family or relationship behaves unkindly, cruelly, or violently towards another family member. It can occur between adults, such as partners or parents, but also between parents and their children. Domestic violence can manifest in various ways, including physical harm like hitting or pushing, or emotional abuse, such as saying hurtful things or creating a climate of fear.

The victims of domestic violence can be anyone, including kids, adults, and elderly people. It's important to know that domestic violence can happen to both boys and girls. Victims might be scared to tell anyone because they're afraid of the person hurting them, so it's essential to be supportive and understanding.
